MISSION of DMR

Dead Moon Records is an underground label that focuses on releasing melancholic, depressive, and atmospheric music created by passionate, sincere artist. Much of our catalog falls within the Ambient, Depressive Black Metal, and Folk genres.

DMR was founded in 2003 by Thorn of the black ambient project Fjellelv. The idea to form an underground label for other musicians to help get exposure, and make a way to release their music. The real dream came to fruition in 2007 when the first actual releases came about starting with the Canadian project Ancient Tundra and the dark ambient debut release of Norway's Immundus. Since then there have been several other releases and DMR plans on many more to come forth into the next several years!
